Hindi ko alam kung bakit medyo mainit dugo sakin nitong matandang to. Professional Photographer ito, pero mayabanng. Mayabang kasi pati ako pinapatulan. And I know na hindi ko din dapat siyang patulan. Sabi ko kasi sakanya masungit siya. Parang totoo nga naman kasi kung titingnan mo mukha niya parang mataray. Iba siya sa mga kilala kong pro photographers. Mga humble and ready to share their knowledge yung mga kilala ko. Pero siya? ewan ko. Naiinis ako. Warfreak. Look, salita siya ng salita sa shoutbox ng isang forum, pero hindi siya pinapansin, i mean hindi pinapansin yung pangbabara niya sakin sa shoutbox. Then sabay comment sa Facebook, sabi nya "ikaw ba yung glenn sa forum? Sabi pa nya, "GUSTO MONG SUMIKAT? PAPANSIN KA?" Nagsalita lang naman ako sa shoutbox then naging freak na siya. I should be humble, ayaw ko ding mangaway. Nung hindi pa ako Chrisitan, talagang napaka-warfreak ko. Panay mura ako, pano kaya kung hindi pa ako Christian ngayon? Siguro masasakit na salita na yung natanggap ni "lolo photographer". Totoo, lolo na yan. Pero ganyan pa din ugali. I feel sorry for him. you might want to check this screenshot below.:

My blog says Cannot find server

This is all about my help letter which I was supposed to submit to google online forum.

I need help As soon as possible I need to get rid this problem of mine. I was just fixing my subdomains. I added www.forum in the hostname in eNOM and ghs.google.com. in my address. and I added a new subdomain which is www.photos. and lastly I added photos and forum in the hostname with same addresses...


check this out:
my main address is or blog: www.glennvon.com
my two subdomains:

www.photos.glennvon.com ->for my portfolio (IT IS OKAY)
www.forum.glennvon.com -> at first it was ok and then ughh! It was broken like in my main address.

I checked all possible solutions and in my dashboard in blogger says that "YOUR BLOG IS READY!" which means everything is fine, but then ugh! Nothing is fine. :(

So... Let's go on to my another problem that has been solved.

I have a subdomain which is www.photos.glennvon.com -> like what i've said in my letter above, this is for my portfolio. Before I encountered my problem in my main site, when you visit the www.photos.glennvon.com (with www.) you can see that it is alright, but then when you remove the www. thing, bam! ughggghghg! whatdaf? Server Not Found. So what's going on? What should I do now?

Solution:

Follow my photo above. For example: I want to create a subdomain which is photos.glennvon.com
I just added a www.photos and photos to my hostname separately and added ghs.google.com to both of the two new hostname. Remember pals, the Record type is CNAME! :)

How to take photos of fireworks easily?

Here's what you need:

1. PATIENCE - Why? All photographers have patience and all aspiring photographers should have such virtue. Ok, if you don't have patience, then quit. haha. Try this: Quantity over Quality. Trials and Errors. When I'm shooting fireworks here in our subdivision, darn, so many wires! How can I even get a nice photo if I don't have a terrace, our house has no second floor and another problem is what I've mentioned earlier, the $!@$!@$!@ Wires. haha! So if you have no stable place to shoot fireworks, you need this virtue. I recommend shooting in Mall of Asia every Friday Nights(correct me if I am right. lol). You don't need to exert much patience there, you just need time.

2. TRIPOD - Why? Of course, you cannot draw nicely using a pencil without a sharpener.

3. CAMERA w/ full control of Shutter speed/Aperture - Why? Ask the moon, and the sun will answer you. Joke. :) haha. You cannot record the movement of the fireworks if you only have a point and shoot camera.

All of the requirements above are really necessary.

Here is my technique since in my place, there are many electrical wires of Meralco, I run from place to place. :) I set my ISO to 200 (if your camera has an ISO of 100, set it to 100). And then calibrate your shutter speed to 1/5 to 10 seconds I think. and make your aperture smaller so that your shutter speed and your aperture will be balanced as well as the light.

I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do,

My Christian duty now was done,
My soul could be at ease.


All through the day I had no time,
No time to speak a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends.
They would laugh at me, I fear.
No time, no time.. too much to do.
That was my constant cry.
No time to give to those in need
At last it was time to die.


And when before the Lord I came.
I stood with downcast eyes.
Within His hands, He held a book.
It was the "Book of Life".
He looked into the book and said:
"Your name I cannot find".
I once was going to write it down
But never found the time.

Would Jesus Allow Earrings?

Wearing earrings is just one minute part of a long list of items that shock parents and church leaders to death whenever their youngsters get one, or maybe worse, a new one.


It has long been a part of human history, with varying purposes at different epochs. It has been a symbol of physical strength for primal hunting societies. Later on, precious stones and metals were used as earrings in order to display elite status in society. However, questions have been raised as to its appropriateness on men.


Cross-dressing


Deuteronomy 22:5 says, “The woman shall not wear that which pertains unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord your God.” The same word translated “abomination” here is the same word used in in Lev. 18:22 and 20:13 to illustrate God’s view and feelings toward homosexuality.


The Bible warns about cross-dressing because God is not a God of confusion who would want culture and society to have blurred norms of masculinity and femininity. Ambiguity between the two genders he created is not in keeping with his original plan promulgated in Ge. 1:27.


This begs the question then: Does wearing earrings for males blur the line between God-designed femininity and masculinity? In order to answer this question, we have to determine whether or not wearing earrings is an exclusively feminine practice. Biblical history does not comment on this. Our contemporary times meanwhile show that the perception on wearing earrings depend on which nation-culture you’re looking at.


In the Philippines, guys who wear earrings are not necessarily perceived as homosexuals. However, many Christians, especially those who belong to adult or older generations find the practice repulsive or at least inappropriate. When asked, they would not necessarily connect it with immorality; they just find it an eyesore at the very least.


Stumbling block


Romans 14 comes into the picture here. Paul warns us that if something we do causes some fellow believers to feel bad about church or stumble in some way, we should stop doing it. Thus, if there are people in your church who frown upon guys who wear earrings, then ban the practice! There’s no reason to argue in favor of a dispensable practice that might just adversely affect the church.


First Cor. 10:23 also says, “‘Everything is permissible’—but not everything is beneficial. ‘Everything is permissible’—but not everything is constructive. Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.”


If wearing earrings for guys is not constructive and causes strife between older and younger members of your church, the practical and biblical recourse is to discourage the practice!


Check your motives


The motive for wearing earrings also comes into question here. Fashion has a way of feeding vanity or giving a false sense of significance or confidence. If a person wears earrings only to look “astig” or just because he thinks he’ll be more attractive to society, that person must be compassionately educated on God’s divine plan for his life purpose.


Our original source of significance is God. His glory is our goal. Not our own satisfaction that may be fed through fashion statements that are not necessarily constructive to church life and unity.

Suddenly I admired a quality my dad possessed that I clearly lacked—preparation.

The moment Mr. Cooper* launched into the explanation of our next essay assignment, my eyes glazed over and my mouth fell open in a gigantic yawn. I leaned forward, resting my chin in the palm of my hand.

I half-heard Mr. Cooper utter the phrase "worth a big chunk of your grade," and I knew I should be paying closer attention. But with June just around the corner, it was impossible to stay focused on school. All I could think about were camping trips, soccer games and endless mornings of sleeping in.

The bell rang, snapping me out of my trance.

"Due in two weeks!" Mr. Cooper shouted over the noisy rush to the door.

Good, I thought. I have a lot of time before I have to even think about this project.

That evening when Dad got home from work he asked how school was.

"Mr. C. assigned another essay," I said with a sigh as I headed to the kitchen for a snack.

"Wow. I bet you can't wait to get started on it!" Dad teased, knowing my tendency to procrastinate.

"Very funny," I answered, reaching for the chips. "I'll do it eventually."

"Between school, sports and youth group, your schedule is pretty crazy," Dad said. "Waiting till right before it's due can make your life tough—especially if you encounter unexpected issues at the last minute."

"Issues?" I asked.

"Yeah, like you could get sick," Dad said. "Or have other homework stack up on you. I'm just saying it's wise to build in some 'cushion time.'"

I rolled my eyes.

Cushion time? Whatever. I had it under control.

The night before the paper was due I read over the assignment. I had to write about my role model. I sat down to think about who I admired. Through the years I had looked up to a few of my teachers and coaches. But it was my dad who immediately sprang to mind. He had so many admirable qualities. He was honest, hard-working, caring and kind. And above all, he treated everyone with respect. Sure, Dad had his flaws—like always giving me the same tired advice!—but he was still pretty cool.

I started to write my paper and it was really slow going. I had a killer case of writer's block that only intensified as I stared at the clock. But slowly the sentences started trickling out of my head and onto the computer screen.

Time ticked on. I rubbed my burning, bloodshot eyes and squinted to read the digital clock across the room: 3 a.m. Ugh! What I wouldn't give for a quick catnap. But there was no time for that.

As I reached for my third Mountain Dew of the night, I sat back in my chair and sighed. I was so tired, but I only had to write the concluding paragraph. I pressed my fingers to the keyboard but the cursor didn't move. The screen was frozen. A wave of terror rushed over me as I realized that in my groggy, fuzzy-minded state, I had forgotten to save my work.

This can't be happening! I panicked. Please, God! Don't do this to me!

I tried rebooting, but my file was irretrievable.

I pounded my fist in frustration.

Why is God putting me through this? I thought. Then in a flash my Dad's voice rang in my head: "You might encounter unexpected issues." A fried computer would certainly fall under the "unexpected" category.

Why didn't I listen to Dad and start this project earlier? I thought. I'm so stupid!

Suddenly I admired another quality my dad possessed that I clearly lacked—preparation.

I'm sorry, Lord, I prayed. I know I brought this on myself. Please just get me through this project and I promise never to procrastinate again—well, not to this degree, at least!

I spent the next couple of hours reconstructing my essay—as best as I could remember it—on my dad's laptop. My rushed and sloppy work was reflected in my mediocre grade.

That whole experience taught me two things: the importance of planning ahead and the value of listening to my parents' advice. Oh, and it's also clear to me now why God so wisely invented sleep!

Would Jesus see movies?

Sex, violence, words too crass to be seen in print, Quentin Tarantino and Da Vinci Code. Perhaps they made it to your pastor’s top r eason s why seeing movies should be met by disciplinary action. But is it really so bad to see movies?


Evil places



Some believe that movie houses are intrinsically imbued with evil power, causing the Holy Spirit to instantly depart from Christians once they set foot on cinemas. This view is not true as it clandestinely campaigns the devil as being more sovereign than God over believers. The Spirit’s residence in the Christian is based on God’s grace that guides the believer into holiness.







Christian maturity



And as temples of the Spirit, we should bear in mind that God must have involvement in all we do. The center of all our activities should serve to not dishonor Him (1 Corinthians 10:31). The Bible tells us that we should fill our minds with things that are good and praiseworthy, things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely and honorable (Philippians 4:8). The danger in seeing movies lies in the depth of impact its scenes may communicate to us. The element of one’s personal Christian maturity plays a very big role here.




Christians tread maturity on different paces. Some grow faster than others. A Christian who is not yet mature in the area of sexuality might easily get visually adulterous (Matthew 5:28) on any scene with Megan Fox in it. Some might get easily swayed by plots and messages that challenge Christian beliefs and values. A good example is Da Vinci Code, which theological assertions might confuse the gullible.


One of the best things Christians can do is to have an honest personal evaluation as to whether or not seeing a particular movie would be detrimental for them. Movies that would stir us to pursue godlessness should, needless to say, be avoided. This would require us to obtain adequate information on the movies we plan to see (without stumbling upon plot spoilers, of course!).




Obviously bad movies



Now, there are movies which determination of whether or not Christians should see can be handled by sheer common sense. Bruno, American Pie, Death Note and Harry Potter should not send us fasting just to hear from God if it’s ok to see them. There is already enough common knowledge about the negativity of their plot available on the internet.




The challenge



Movies—like many art forms—are culturally inevitable. As long as we live, we shall be presented with entertainment materials that do not preach Jesus, but are not necessarily evil. There is no point in absolutely refusing to get some entertainment from movies. In fact, some films can be useful for sermon illustrations as they may aid in connecting even with non-Christian church guests.




The challenge for Christians is to live in a movie-going world without compromising their faith. If we isolate ourselves from the world, who else will be its salt and light? That’s why Jesus prayed “…not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” (John 17:15)




We must also keep in mind that filmmaking is a money-making industry that is now dominated by producers who are openly non-Christian in their worldview. So if a film is backed by those who clearly oppose Christianity, we must refrain from financially patronizing it.




The movie we consume can end up consuming us instead. So let us not be ignorant of the schemes of the enemy (2 Corinthians 2:11). Let us resolve not to defile ourselves by taking in trashy media. We must spend more time consuming our time for media, literature and other entertainment activities that would not cause us to be drawn away from the things of God.

My hopes

Hope ~>want or expect something: to have a wish to get or do something or for something to happen or be true, especially something that seems possible or likely

There is a big difference between that two words. What? Read it idiot! /wahaha Anyways, I am a photographer, not a pro and not a noob. Check this: http://www.glennvon.com/ This semester before summer, I've been expecting a scholarship(a college scholarship means 50% off tuition). I did not study well, and so? I got a general weighted average of 2.02. Darn! When I was in 1st year 2nd semester, my GWA entered 1.58 so I got such scholarship, then at the end of 2nd year 1st sem, I got my 15,000.00 pesos from my family. I was so happy. I bought all my needs in my photography thing and so I was a lil' bit satisfied. But I know I got a lot of stuffs that I need to buy. This summer I've been supposing that my mom will give me money. Maybe 10,000.00 or 20,000.00 for my mini studio that I will be setting up in our house. That is my HOPE! Darn! If only I could achieve such "hope" I will be so happy. Now, I guess my hopes will turn to merely dreams. /no I still love you God, don't worry.

How to Remove Virus in your Removable Disk, especially your USB Flash drive WITHOUT USING ANTI VIRUS

1.Hold shift key then continuously press another shift key when inserting your flash drive...(this is to avoid autoplaying/autoread of flash drive)

2.Open Run Then type in the word cmd..press enter key

3.type your flash drive letter then followed by a colon then press enter key..for example: d:

4. Type attrib then..,,if you see a "ASHR" or "SHR" before the document file it means it is the virus itself or an autorun......example:
e:\>

A S H R autorun.exe

5.next step is to unhidden the infected file or virus itself...type in:
attrib(space)-a(space)-s(space)-h(space)-r(space)then the infected file or the virus example;
attrib -a -s -h -r autorun.exe

6.then next step is to delete....type:
del -a -s -h -r autorun.inf


TIP: If you still have no idea on how to do this hack, click here to go to the part 2 where I posted some screenshots and example there.

WARNING: You may want to do this process into your hard disk, HOWEVER, you shall be careful and knowledgeable enough about the important files in your hard disk. If you accidentally remove some important files in your hard disk, your system will not start anymore.
