I've been searching kung paano magkaroon ng free internet sa android. Ayos naman ang proxy address, ilang beses ko na binago yun. port 8080 at port chuva chuva e not effective. Buti pa girlfriend ko na symbian Nokia N8 e may free net. Kainggit. Dati nung may symbian nokia phone pa ako, free lagi internet ko at unli download ng symbian & java games.
Anyway, I found out that a MODIFIED OPERA MINI is necessary. Hindi basta basta opera mini na officially released sa android market. This app is modified for android free internet. bina-bypass ata nito yung mga chuva chenes na mahirap iexplain. Gamit ang proxy ip address (used for hiding your real ip address), at tamang ports sa phone mo, may free net ka na.
First Step:
credits: dzebb, winaru.
Then install sa phone.
Basta android phone ha? if hindi android phone mo, try to find an app para sa phone mo. Kung meron para sa IOS, edi swerte ka. Kung hanap mo e pang java at symbian, marami dyan, nagkalat sa net.
Second Step:
This one is important, so sundan maigi.
1. Settings
2.Wireless and network settings
3. Mobile Networks
4. CHECK the "use packet data" option. (this could drain your battery faster. Sa symbian at java OS phones, such phones will always ask the user if they would like to use packet data para hindi laging nakaopen, thus reducing the battery consuming chuvaa.)
5. Go to "Access Point Names"
6. If wala kang APN, Create a new APN. Otherwise, touch your desired APN to be edited. Sakin "MyGlobeConnect".
7. Kung Globe or TM ka, ito ang settings:
Name: MyGlobeConnect
APN: www.globe.com.ph
Proxy: 203.177.42.214 (You can choose any proxy address given by the other blogs or forums if you want.)
Port: 8080
Server: socket://server4.operamini.com:8080/ (this is optional, I suppose. But ilagay nyo na din to be sure).
Authentication Type: PAP or CHAP or none
APN Type: internet
for SMART users, try this nalang:
change the APN to "mms"
and proxy to: 10.102.61.46
additional tags: free internet access for android, internet verywehere and anywhere, free mobile internet, 100% tested free internet access for mobile phones, java and symbian free internet using opera mini, opera mini serves as a medium for free internet for android, android phones and mobiles free internet access, globe hack free internet access for android mobile phones, android mobile phones Touch Mobile free internet access, free internet access for TNT and smart users,.

You should also take note na iba yung OPERA MINI app galing dito, which is modified compared dun sa unmodified app from GOOGLE PLAY

Tried connecting with the provided connection here. Still getting that "Unable to connect to the Internet. Please check your settings." error. I am using a CyanogenMod 7.2.0 ROM, Gingerbread 2.3.7 version, with a Motorola Cliq and TM SIM card. Anyone care to help? Thanks in advance.

Til here nalang ang maitutulong ko :(
1. First, kailangan walang load. pwede din meron kaso mababawasan load mo. Piso or Zero balance pwede na.
2. Install the modified Opera Mini app given above.
3. Disable Wifi.
4. Make sure you have a strong signal
5. TM/Globe lang ang sure ko. And Im using TM
6. Edit your settings properly.
7. If the given Proxy Address is not working, try searching for another proxy address sa google. For TM/Globe kung yan ang gamit nyo. Iba ata ang proxy sa TM/Globe compared sa TNT/SMART.
8. Hanapin nyo yung "USE PACKET DATA" something. sa 2.2 froyo, kapag naclick mo yung check box, may lalabas na letter either "E", "H", "G" etc... ibig sabihin you are downloading/uploading gamit ang GPRS. may up and down arrow siya sa taas.
9. Please check kung tama yun Server settings ng APP nyo.

@anon - No, Im only sure about the TM/Globe Settings. Maybe you could just switch to TM or Globe. Or you can search the right settings for Sun.

..habang iniinstall mo ung o.m. Apps, make sure na hindi mamamatay ung screen mo para derederetyo,,..halos 5 to 15 mins kc bago ma install.. Punta ka sa SETTINGS>DISPLAY>SCREEN TIME OUT. Set mo 30minutes.
