Today, I was making a comparison between two dvd drives. Knowing that the two of your DVDRW internal drives are malfunctioning is indeed irritating, and your best hope is to buy an external dvdrw. And since we have two notebooks here(a laptop without internal dvdrw), I really need to buy one. I've got some bucks from my last photoshoot, so $$$ won't be much pain in the ass. xD.So, here it goes.
I saw that in the pricelist(2012) of PC Gilmore Computer Center Asus, Samsung DVDRW SE-208AB Slim External costs PHP 1,530.00 while the Samsung DVDRW SE-S084C External Tray Type worth PHP 1,800.00

SUMMARY:
My verdict? I'll go to SE-208AB. 170php is quite a big thing for me. haha! And besides, it has different colors. Speed of the two optical drives are quite similar. But you guys must choose the SE-S084C because it has a higher buff memory. Buff Memory is important because the higher the buff memory, the lower the rate of the error in writing in full speed.
